Japan Earthquake, Tsunami & Nuclear Energy Situation

Wednesday, March 16th, 2011

Dear readers,

The recent earthquake and tsunami in northeastern Japan has been devastating and costly to the citizens of the nation and of the world.

At Chao Center for Asian Studies and positions, we would like to do our part in educating readers about the earthquake, the tsunami, and the resulting nuclear energy situation.  To start, we would like to use video from “The Rachel Maddow Show,” from MSNBC, to inform and educate about the possible result of the explosion and burning at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant.

The Rachel Maddow Show – “What is spent nuclear fuel?”
